Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Manager of Control Center Operations, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Invenergy Generation Control Center. You will manage a team of control room operators who will oversee the remote operation of Invenergy and Third-Party wind, solar, and battery storage facilities. This position will be located at Invenergy’s Center of Excellence facility in Bolingbrook, IL.
Responsibilities:
Directly manage a team of operators in the Invenergy Control CenterHire, onboard, and train new control room staffAssist in training new operators and support the Training Specialist in their efforts as needed.Provide guidance and reviews for the Control Room Operator Progression PathImplement standardized operations through creation and maintenance of operational proceduresAssist and oversee the development of documentation, presentations, and training materials for specific operations in the GCCEnsure the control center team has the appropriate resources and processes in place to support compliance with third-party, ISO, and NERC regulationsIndependently track and manage ongoing issues and initiativesCollaborate with multiple departments to solve issues and lead improvements in operationsAssist in development and delivery of content and training during all-hands meetingsRequired Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in renewable energy control center operations3+ years of experience working with SCADA systemsProficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, WordEligible to work in the Unites States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:
Leadership experience is a plusStrong attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks effectivelyAbility to work effectively and productively on challenging issues with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the control center is prepared to support reliable operations.Excellent communication skillsThis is a safety sensitive position. Base Pay
$115,000.00 - $135,000.00 USD AnnualBonus: 10% - 40%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
