Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Professional Services Manager to lead and support a team of project managers, solution consultants, and technical consultants. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving project execution, acting as a project sponsor, developing team talent, and collaborating cross-functionally with departments such as Support, Product, and Sales.
The ideal candidate has a strong leadership background, a track record of delivering complex implementation projects, and a deep understanding of customer success and revenue accountability in a services environment.
Team Leadership & Development
+ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professional services staff, including project managers, solution consultants, and technical consultants.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
+ Conduct regular performance reviews and develop growth plans for team members.
Project Sponsorship & Delivery Oversight
+ Serve as an executive-level sponsor for key client projects to ensure quality and alignment with strategic goals.
+ Drive delivery excellence by tracking milestones, identifying risks, and resolving escalations.
+ Ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets.
Revenue Management
+ Own and achieve revenue targets for both recurring and non-recurring professional services revenue.
+ Monitor project profitability and utilization metrics to ensure financial goals are met.
+ Support the development of new service offerings and pricing strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Partner with Sales to scope engagements and develop solutions that align with client needs.
+ Work closely with the Product team to provide feedback and influence roadmap prioritization based on customer implementation insights.
+ Collaborate with Support to ensure smooth post-implementation transitions and customer satisfaction.
Skills & Requirements
Experience & Background
+ Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a professional services, implementation, or consulting environment.
+ Proven track record of managing customer-facing teams and delivering complex software or technology solutions.
+ Experience in driving financial performance and project outcomes.
Skills & Competencies
+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
+ Strong project management acumen, including familiarity with methodologies like Agile, PMP, or similar.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset.
