What Collections contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Collections is responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable. This includes dispute research, developing payment plans with customers, and building relationships of trust with customers and internal business partners.
Responsibilities
Manage BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Partner for designated areaManagement reporting on results, risks, opportunities, trends as well as ad hoc as neededOperational Excellence mindset to drive improvement efforts for on-shore and/or off-shore teamsProject management mindset to drive collaborative efforts across multiple teamsBusiness to business collections - problem solving with customer on payment issuesTravel possible up to 10%Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred8-12 years of experience, preferred5-7 years of business experience including collections, finance or customer service preferred2-4 years of management experience preferredStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; ability to communicate effectively with personnel at various levelsMS Office experience (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)SAP and Business Objects experience preferredLocation
Ideal candidate will need to be able to work a hybrid schedule - coming into the Dublin, OH office 2-3 days a week and working the other days remote.What is expected of you and others at this level
