Manager, Chief Accountant's Department - Advisory and Policy
Job Description This role sits within the Chief Accountants Department, supporting the Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM) function. The successful candidate will provide technical accounting advisory under IFRS, maintain and interpret accounting policies, and contribute to the Banks consolidated shareholder reporting and regulatory filings. Skills and Requirements CPA designation with 5+ years of financial accounting experience.   Strong IFRS technical expertise, especially in financial instruments and capital markets.   Experience with derivatives.   Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex accounting topics to senior stakeholders.   Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience with valuation of financial instruments and derivatives.   Experience with hedge accounting.   Familiarity with GL systems and journal entry processes.   Prior experience drafting accounting policies and resolving technical accounting issues.   Exposure to US GAAP is an asset. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
