=Objective of the Position=
- Responsible for regional Chemical Support for Cellasto (one of the product in BASF) Asia-Pacific, covering a few legal entities.

=Main Tasks=
- Chemical Laboratory Management: Ensure the safety, availability and proper performance of a chemical lab.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee and maintain the performance of regional raw material, intermediate, and finished Cellasto products, including trials.
- Chemical Support Operations: Address production issues, manage rejects, ensure chemical safety, handle environmental concerns, oversee ComS projects, and provide training.
- Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) Support: Manage customer complaints, control off-spec material, material handling, manage and maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Chemical Support & Engineering: Ensure material compatibility, meet customer specifications, conduct workshops and training sessions, and analyze competitor materials.


=Main Requirements=
- Possess at least a Bachelor degree, major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience is required, with a preference for those who have demonstrated leadership experience/ capabilities.
- Proficiency in PU (Polyurethane) materials knowledge and lab expertise is essential.
- Experiences in Product & Application Development, Testing, and Quality Management are highly desirable.
- Fluent English and Mandarin in both written and spoken.
