To achieve these goals, we’ll build on the assets, experience, capabilities, and relationships we’ve developed over 140 years to incubate and grow new businesses.   **Position Overview ** Chevron is seeking a highly skilled Change Communications professional to join the Enterprise Employee Communications team. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience and a deep passion for employee communications and culture enhancement, preferably within a large, multinational organization. This role requires exceptional strategic thinking – connecting the dots across the business to support business transformations, mergers/acquisitions, culture/behaviors, global real estate initiatives, and more. You’ll be a trusted advisor, representing the communications point of view across a complex organization, and collaborating with diverse internal stakeholders to drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of large-scale change initiatives. This individual will be responsible for developing clear, timely messaging that aligns with Chevron’s corporate culture, equipping leaders with communication resources, and ensuring it resonates with all stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** + Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with Chevron’s business strategy and enterprise change initiatives. + Craft messaging frameworks, identify channels and set measurable targets to support change objectives. + Conduct stakeholder planning in partnership with Change Management team, and tailor communications to meet audience needs. + Develop and distribute compelling content across formats, including executive talking points, FAQs, leader guides, storytelling, social sound bites, and video scripts. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess organizational readiness and potential barriers to change, continually refining and adapting plans as needed. + Equip senior leaders witheffective communication tools that drive awareness and understanding of changes that move employees to action. + Facilitate two-way communication through town halls, focus groups and surveys to gather feedback and foster transparency and trust. + Build engaging content and multimedia initiatives to inspire a global workforce, including capturing and crafting stories from across the organization. + Identify communication risks and develop contingency plans to address resistance and misinformation. + Utilize metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization. + Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in communications, contributing to the company's thought leadership initiatives and enhancing our service offerings. + Ensure all communications reflect Chevron’s values, culture, and brand identity. **Qualifications and Skills** + Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Organizational Development or related field. + 10+ years ofproven experience in internal communications, workplace culture, or employee engagement at a global scale is required. + Strong strategic problem solver with experience in cultural transformation, change management, and collaborator management, including partnering with C-suite executives. + Proven experience supporting large-scale organizational change (e.g., M&A, restructuring, digital transformation). + Creative storyteller with a track record of managing and shaping internal messages at a global scale. + Builds strong client relationships and is viewed as a trusted advisor by drawing upon methodology best practices to recommend solutions. + Excellent writing skills and an ability to translate complex organizational messages and changes into simple, clear and compelling narratives. + High business acumen with the ability to work in ambiguity and anticipate long-term communication implications. + Detail- and deadline-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize. + Poise and executive presence tobuild confidence among leadership. + Strong team player with the ability to work across functional teams and styles. + Agile, fast-paced execution with precision and professionalism. + Consistent track record of taking initiative, anticipating next steps, and setting high standards. **Preferred Skills and Competencies** + Master’s degree + Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, Kotter) is a strong asset. + Experience with digital communication platforms and collaboration tools. + Creative thinking and innovation to extend communications impact. + Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced environments. + Multilingual or cross-cultural communication experience. **Key Attributes for Success** Strategic Thinking: Anticipates challenges and proactively addresses communication needs in alignment with organizational priorities.
