**Job Description:**
The Corporate and Public Affairs (CAPA) department aims to inspire and connect our customers, communities and colleagues through communications, conversations and advocacy that enrich lives, deliver business outcomes and enhance our brand. We deliver best-in-class external and internal communications to help differentiate TD in the market and elevate our brand.
**Role Overview**
The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of integrated CEO communications plans, ensuring alignment with TD's strategic priorities and narrative. This colleague will bring a diverse skill set, combining strategic communications capabilities, the ability to manage multiple projects and work with stakeholders, and an understanding of the Bank's strategic priorities.
The successful candidate will:
+ Lead the development and execution of the CEO's annual communication plan, ensuring alignment with the Bank's strategic priorities and integrating enterprise and key business initiatives.
+ Shape a holistic view of executive communications across lines of business to drive consistency of messaging and identify opportunities for amplification of CEO messaging and content, as well as connecting the dots with enterprise strategic priorities.
+ Partner effectively with colleagues and business partners to identify engagement opportunities internally and externally, and work with CEO Communications and Operations teams to manage projects from proposal to execution and measuring success.
+ Lead the development of communications proposals, products and plans as assigned, for a variety of audiences.
+ Support development of a LinkedIn program, including content development, tracking and measurement.
+ Capture new opportunities to engage with audiences across the Bank and externally, leveraging best practices, research and insights to drive engagement and produce related content as required.
+ Provide communications advice to senior leaders, partners and stakeholders to shape and influence outcomes.
**Qualifications and skills:**
+ 7-10+ years of experience in communications or related field, with background working in corporate communications, or an agency environment.
+ Demonstrated experience and ability to develop and implement creative communication strategies and plans aligned to business objectives.
+ Outstanding writing and editing skills to express a point of view and articulate a compelling narrative that is clear, strategic and tailored to outcomes.
+ Excellent judgment and proven experience providing communications advice and counsel to senior leaders.
+ Strong understanding and point of view on communications best practices, industry insights and strategic communications.
+ Proven ability to navigate in a complex or ambiguous environment, managing multiple high-priority projects or deliverables.
+ Undergraduate degree or PR/marketing/corporate communications/journalism certification, designations, or equivalent required.
+ Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
