Working closely with both the business planning, activation, and analytics teams, business intelligence designs the data strategy and taxonomy to tie our clients’ marketing to real-world business goals. We then mine and automate that data to optimize campaigns and tell the stories that bring our clients closer to their marketing, helping them understand if they’re talking to the people they want, and if they’re doing it the right way. What does a successful Manager look like? We don’t all look the same, and we don’t expect you to, either. But a successful Manager should share our passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, determine a point of view and shares it in a positive way, gear up for a challenge, and always crave to learn more and improve. We are looking for prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media, but isn’t necessarily a requirement. What does a Manager do day-to-day? The Manager will be working within Zenith’s VM1 Business Intelligence team on data projects including QA, client reporting, analytics, data warehousing, and dashboarding. You will also be partnering with the data engineering team on reporting automation. You should have prior working experience performing QA on large datasets, a working knowledge of SQL, and will become familiar with the internal analytics and technological offerings to assist and lead various projects. Responsibilities Conduct requirements gathering and project scoping sessions with subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to discover and define reporting needs Lead and manage the process between analytics/reporting needs, translate it to a defined technical requirement, and work with the engineering team to build it - from the ask to implementation to client facing reporting Own the overall design and implementation of our BI platform, including collaborating with engineering and functional leads on data acquisition, modeling, and delivery Teach and offer guidance to the Analytics team on how to identify data issues and help them work towards a resolution Manage internal and external client relationships Manage and prioritize day-to-day questions Qualifications 3+ years of practical SQL knowledge within a working environment Regular Excel usage including manipulating pivots, vlookups, sumifs, etc... Experience with manipulation and QA of big data/user level data Ability to problem solve under tight timelines Ability to communicate technical subjects to a non-technical audience Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a dynamic environment Media analytics experience strongly desired with working knowledge of ad and search platforms as well as DSPs Desired Experience: Advanced Excel skill (able to work with complex Excel formulas) Experience building Tableau dashboards and working with Tableau Prep a plus Previous experience with either a retail, telco, or another direct response client preferred Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
