Responsible for expanding the company’s footprint in the foodservice sector by identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue through innovative sales approaches. This role focuses on acquiring and growing accounts with restaurants, hospitality groups, institutional kitchens, and other foodservice operators. Knowledgeable of product information, industry trends, and related technology. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Identify and prospect potential clients within the foodservice industry. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand customer base and increase market share Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers.Understand customer needs and provide tailored product and service recommendations.Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and presentations for prospective customers; Negotiate and close sales contracts with foodservice buyers and purchasing managers.Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine strategies.Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain to ensure customer satisfaction and product availabilityTrack and report on sales metrics, pipeline progress, and business development performance.Forecast sales and prepare regular reports for leadership.Performs other related duties as assigned.
