Job Summary:
We are seeking a collaborative, results-driven and experienced product portfolio marketing manager to support the creation and execution of go-to market strategies for one of our key Services Portfolios in Europe and AU/NZ. This role will report to the global VP, Product Portfolio Marketing Open Finance/Open Banking and work closely with the global Director to ensure best-in-class product marketing. The role will work closely with the European OB business leader, and cross-functional teams such as product management, sales, regional marketing, and other groups within B2B Services Marketing. The aim is to develop new messaging and marketing strategies that introduce solutions to local markets and implement key programs for business growth and market adoption. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a strong understanding of product lifecycle management, competitive messaging and positioning, and open finance/open banking regional market landscape and trends, as well as experience developing tailored marketing strategies and content for diverse customer buying groups, including developers and technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
•\tIn conjunction with the team, develop compelling messaging and value propositions that differentiate the portfolio’s use cases and solutions in the region markets, ensuring alignment to business objectives and strategy.
•\tConduct regular competitive analysis and customer research to develop and refine positioning and ensure alignment with market trends and needs.
•\tLead execution of use case playbooks and supporting assets (including hands-on management of all materials and content) to drive adoption and usage in key markets.
•\tSupport the Developer & API team in the creation of targeted messaging and marketing strategies to influence awareness and adoption of Mastercard products among developers as part of the buying committee.
•\tCollaborate with the team to support launch plans for our Tier 1 product/solution launches.
•\tCreate launch plans for Tier 2 product launches, including positioning, naming, and execution plans.
•\tCollaborate with integrated marketing, customer marketing, field marketing, partner marketing, and digital marketing on product launch and use campaigns. Review materials created by other marketing teams to ensure alignment and impact.
•\tManage and maintain product portfolio information about priority products in the shared inventory on Monday.com.
•\tCreate advanced sales enablement assets to reflect use case messaging for sales team.
•\tCollaborate with digital marketing to support website migration and development of web content to reflect priority products and use cases in European markets.
•\tProvide direction and coordinate deliverables with vendors (e.g., agencies, film production, etc.).
•\tReports regularly on campaign performance measurement and evaluation, recommending ways to leverage past success and apply to future programs.
Qualifications:
•\tProven experience in product marketing, preferably in a B2B tech environment.
•\tKnowledge of the European Open Finance/Open Banking landscape.
•\tExperience working with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and regional marketing teams.
•\tStrong understanding of competitive product positioning and crafting compelling value propositions that can scale across multiple markets within a region.
•\tExperience delivering and assessing creative content across channels including presentations, sales materials, digital, videos.
•\tDemonstrated success building relationships and delivering results with global, multi-cultural or remote project teams.
•\tExperience executing a product marketing campaign and measuring programs to assess success and recommend changes.
•\tExperience leveraging multiple sources of data to identify insights and develop agency briefs, assess creative content across channels, and deliver sales and marketing materials.
•\tAble to lead, plan and manage a project/initiative to achieve its set goals and deliverables within a defined timeline and budget.
