Manager, Appeals & Denials

Every day you will manage the large volume of appeals inventory ensuring quality and production standards are met while capturing and reporting trends for client delivery. To thrive in this role, you must have prior experience as a supervisor or manager in hospital-based appeals and denials and leadership skills including the ability to coach, motivate, and provide feedback to your team. **Here’s what you will experience working as a Manager, Appeals and Denials:** + Oversight of department to ensure alignment with organizational goals and manage KPIs, production standards, quality reviews, and inventory operations + Oversee staffing, headcount, budget expectations, and act as a backup for supervisor roles while mentoring and training staff + Develop and maintain training materials, addressing performance issues in collaboration with Training and Development + Address client concerns and escalations, coordinating with Customer Partner, Director, and Global partners to optimize workflow + Communicate regularly with the Director, keeping them informed of operational matters, and conduct monthly staff meetings and month-end processes **Required Skills:** + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent + Recent, relevant management or supervisory experience in hospital-based denials and appeals for a large organization + Proficiency with Microsoft Office including the ability to run reports, manipulate and analyze data, prepare presentations, and schedule and run team meetings + Leadership skills including the ability to mentor, support, and educate as needed For this US-based position, the base pay range is $58,240.00 - $95,429.25 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
