Your New Role:
The Manager APAC Network Platform oversees the planning, managing, and execution of networking systems within the organization. As a key leadership role, the individual is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of networking infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations throughout the company with a focus on the APAC region. The role encompasses strategic planning, team management, technology oversight, and alignment of networking functions with organizational goals.
Your Role Accountabilities:
OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Strategic Planning and Development (30%) - Develop strategic plans for network systems within the organization that align with business objectives. Innovate network solutions to enhance performance and stability while considering future growth and technology advancements. Engage with senior management on aligning network infrastructure plans with overall business strategies and initiatives.
Team Leadership and Management (25%) - Lead, mentor, and manage the network engineering team to ensure productivity and professional growth. Conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and facilitate staff development and training opportunities. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and efficient organizational culture within the team.
Operational Management and Network Oversight (25%) - Oversee the daily operations of network systems to ensure reliability, stability, and efficiency. Implement best practices and standardized processes for network design, deployment, and maintenance. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network architecture and security.
Communication and Collaboration (20%) - Liaise between department heads, external partners, and vendors to ensure tools and technologies are appropriately integrated and supported. Communicate complex network strategies and problems to non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and expectations.
Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications & Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Master’s degree or MBA is advantageous.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in network design, implementation, and management within a complex networking environment.
Proven managerial or supervisory experience in leading a team of network professionals.
Extensive experience with network design and implementation processes.
Experience in managing large and complex networking environments.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
Must participate in a management on-call rotation for out of hours support
Minimal travel anticipated for this position
Must have the legal right to work in India
