This role supports the advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at BMO InvestorLine to drive revenue, enhance the customer experience, and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will combine an exceptional, cross-functional program management skillset with a deep understanding of modern AI capabilities and value accretive applications in the financial services industry.

AI Strategy & Value Creation

Support the development of BMO InvestorLine's AI strategySupport operating model design to enable our AI strategyDrive the ideation, prioritization, and synthesis of high-impact AI opportunities for InvestorLine, including organizing and facilitating workshops to engage business and technical stakeholdersDevelop robust, data-driven, quantitative business cases for initiativesEngage with vendors to scope solutioning of initiativesAdvocate on behalf of the employee, customer, and business throughout the AI product lifecycle – ensuring alignment with business strategy and evolving goalsDevelop clear, compelling narratives with business value-driven quants to secure funding and executive buy-inBring a responsible AI mindset to value creation, establishing robust risk management and governance processesTrack and communicate business value through and post launch Stay abreast of AI developments relevant to our business and industry

AI Program Management

Lead and manage all phases of the AI initiative lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of solutionsDevelop and maintain AI roadmap, with clear timelines, interdependencies, and resource plansBuild governance frameworks, define and track KPIs, and take the lead on Wealth and BMO risk reviewsManage E2E vendor engagements for prioritized initiatives, from initial scoping through implementationCraft business and technical requirements in partnership with business and technology teamsOwn sprint execution & delivery of initiatives while collaborating with business and technology teamsMaintain backlog of features and initiatives, working cross-functionally to confirm trade-offs and prioritiesManage delivery to agreed-upon milestones and sprints, proactively communicating and addressing risks & bottlenecksCoordinate across T&O, risk, compliance, change mgmt. etc. to unlock clear delivery pathsTranslate initiative performance tracking into lessons learned for iterative improvementBuild a playbook for scalable, repeatable, AI program delivery across InvestorLine and BMO

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant STEM field, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExpert knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and applications in industryExpert at managing cross-functional programs from conceptualization to delivery and sustainmentExperience in driving agile / sprint based projectsExperience with AI deployment in highly regulated industriesExperience in project planning and execution, risk / issue management, stakeholder communicationVerbal & written communication skills - ExpertCollaboration & team skills - ExpertAnalytical and problem solving skills - ExpertInfluence skills - In-depth / ExpertData driven decision making - In-depth / Expert

Salary:

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
