Are you ready to go beyond? **What You Will Do:** As part of the overall Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Network located in North Berwick, Maine, Pratt & Whitney is seeking a **Manager, Aftermarket Operations -CORE** to grow the business focusing on throughput and efficiency. CORE is the RTX continuous improvement operating system that aligns all major elements of the business and its processes so that they work together in a harmonious system. The production team and support functions (engineering, quality, materials, customer service, operations, etc.) will transform and mature using CORE tools and methods in a series of activities and events. The Manager, Aftermarket Operations - CORE will be working directly with the Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Network and North Berwick Aero Systems to deliver results by improving business metrics and delivering to customer expectations. + Utilize Lean & CORE methods & tools to drive a continuous improvement culture in support of repairs operations, to streamline manufacturing flow, improve cost-competitiveness, and improve cycle time, quality, and delivery + Ensure that CORE systems and processes are in place, best practices are implemented, CORE culture is robust, and accountabilities are established to improve overall operational effectiveness. + Implement continuous improvement initiatives to realize tangible ROI through driving improvement projects across the business and site. This role is expected to identify optimization opportunities, develop CORE implementation strategy, lead engagements/projects, gain buy in from team members, execute the projects, and measure the benefits; be an agent of change, promoting a culture of continuous improvement through influence and collaboration, establishing work plans and following up until their closure. + Manage multiple CORE engagements across the NBRO and NBAS, present progress in front of management, exercise excellent communication/collaboration with internal and external organizations, and cultivate a problem-solving mindset. + Responsible for driving Standard Production System (SPS), a comprehensive lean operating system, harmonizing the tools and tactics of CORE into standardized shop floor management system + Lead and coach staff and develop standards across the business while building solid working relationships and collaborating effectively with direct teams. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years' experience in a continuous improvement/process improvement, engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program management or closely related industrial environment OR a Master's degree and 5 or more years' experience in a continuous improvement/process improvement, engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program management or closely related industrial environment + CORE Professional and/or equivalent Six Sigma Certification + Experience in a management, supervisory or team lead capacity + Experience working with cross functional teams in an environment with constantly shifting priorities + U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts **Qualifications We Prefer:** + CORE professional working toward expert level certification + SPS familiarity in a manufacturing environment + Experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles (Lean cell design and line balancing, 6S, VSM, Kanban, Takt Time, Optimal product work-flow) + Experience/proficiency in realizing ROI through implementation of process improvement and Lean manufacturing methods **What is my role type?** In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. This role is: **Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
