Sodexo is seeking an Accounting Manager - Purchase to Pay, within the Financial Shared Service office at Cheektowaga, NY. This role will support the P2P Domain leader in various initiatives and projects by bridging the gap between business needs and workable solutions while leveraging your knowledge of the P2P area and other related finance shared service areas that interact with this team – including internal/external customers. There are initiatives already in progress and projects that are just getting started – this is an exciting time to join the team.
Incentives This role will work a hybrid schedule averaging three days in the office and two days from home plus ten work From anywhere days, in the U.S. only, provided annually. What You'll Do Oversee project representative for the entire P2P domain – actively participating in projects from initiation to completion, ensuring accountability, project performance, adherence to timelines, and keeping others informed as needed.Develop and maintain internal project lists and communication strategies.Monitor and track project progress, resolving issues promptly and escalating risks when necessary.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss requirements and design solutions.Support the implementation of new business functionality and systems to streamline operations.Assist in the development and delivery of training to our internal/external customers while working with our Change Management and Training team on new processes and systems.Identify process improvements to enhance automation, standardization, and simplification.Resolve payment issues involving complex vendor invoicing issues by partnering with Sodexo vendors, Finance, and Supply Management.Provide support to Global team members including training, both service request and task tracking, and assigning appropriate system access.Update policies, procedures, and process flows as well as KPI development and tracking.Prepare and review P2P account reconciliations.Provide coverage for P2P management as needed.
