JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage all financial aspects of assigned program(s) throughout lifecycleLead program team in all financial aspectsEvaluate engineering changes for cost, price, and tooling impactPrepare and report of program financial metrics at monthly program reviews (ROS%, IRR%, ROA %)Sales price and manufacturing cost tracking to latest engineering levelsPreparation of capital appropriation requests and tooling purchase authorizationsConduct make vs buy analysis and other special studies as neededPreparation of customer documents along with explanations to customersDetermination of tooling, engineering/design, and prototype costsCommercial open issue management to closureAttend weekly SDT meetings - with entire program teamAssist in preparation of quarterly forecasts, annual profit plan and 5-year plan.Support information for quotations that will be submitted to OEM customers through business unitsDevelop risks/opportunities with each quoteReview complex bill of materials for reasonablenessReview manufacturing assumptions for reasonablenessEffectively communicate cost data to the organization and raise product cost awareness within cross-functional teamsDevelop rates for manufacturing processes and plantsAnalyze material and conversion cost variances and financial metricsSupport purchasing negotiate prices with suppliers as required and provide cost targets for purchased componentsProvide product cost reduction estimates as requiredActively contribute to departmental initiatives/process improvements to enhance the overall department’s effectivenessPreparation and complete for Selling price change information for approval.Maintain update selling price and buyer cost for Intercompany.Work on special projects, as needed

Communicating to keep update the safety finding often about safety: safety talk, injury prevention the objective and target achievement.Support & assisting in Safety activity and initiative: AMS, safety plan tour,lesson learnt implementation, HSE training, suggestion, near miss report, safety week, wear proper PPE."Conduct Risk Assessments on activities within their department ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe. Also, that the necessary procedures, rules and regulations designed to achieve this are formulated, published and applied.      Ability to report and consult with key managers (MD, PD, CM, FC) on critical financial issuesCommercial acumenAbility to work with various cross-functional teams including regional and international teamsManagerial competence to work within the general goals and direction provided by managerial team

Qualifications (Education, Skills, and Experiences)

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Engineering, Finance or related fieldAt least 5 years’ experience related to Financial Management or Project Management in a manufacturing environment is preferredEnglish communication both of speaking and writtenAnalytical and problem solvingNegotiation skillsProject management skills
