Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee, Taxation
In this role, you will be responsible for tax compliance, tax reporting and transfer pricing for various Indian and Asia Pacific entities.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review tax returns (direct and indirect) and maintain a comprehensive tax filing calendar.
• Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations and support tax assessments and appeals across jurisdictions, including India.
• Manage accounting for deferred tax assets and liabilities under both local and US GAAP, including valuation allowance assessments.
• Support quarterly and annual tax reporting processes, including preparation of tax packs and documentation in line with ASC 740 / 450 principles.
• Identify and monitor uncertain tax positions and assist in the preparation and review of related technical memos.
• Oversee cross-border transactions, ensuring appropriate tax withholdings and timely reconciliations and filings.
• Maintain and update transfer pricing documentation, including intercompany agreements, and ensure consistent implementation of policies across regions.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors (both domestic and international) during financial and statutory audits.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
• CA/ CPA
• Significant India / Asia Pacific tax reporting, tax compliance and transfer pricing experience.
• Working knowledge of tax laws of APAC countries like Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia.
• International tax exposure (treaty interpretation etc)
Preferred qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• GST /Indirect tax experience is a plus.
• Encouraged to work on strict deadlines, in a fairly dynamic/ fast paced business environment while being a good team leader/ player.
