Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee, Vendor Master Data
We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Vendor Master Data Analyst to support the end-to-end supplier onboarding and vendor data management processes on behalf of our client. This role involves setting up new vendors in the client’s ERP systems, maintaining and updating vendor records, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting compliance with global procurement and finance policies.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate the end-to-end supplier onboarding process, including collection of required documentation (e.g., tax forms, bank details, compliance certifications).
• Validate supplier information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client onboarding policies.
• Create new vendor records in the client’s ERP or Vendor Master Data system following defined workflows and SLAs.
• Process vendors’ change requests including address updates, bank account changes, contact updates, and legal name modifications.
• Validate and verify changes against supporting documents and ensure proper approvals are obtained before updates.
• Maintain audit trails and documentation for all vendor modifications.
• Ensure vendor data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all systems and regions.
• Monitor and resolve duplicate or inactive vendor records in alignment with client’s data governance policies.
• Work closely with compliance, finance, and procurement teams to adhere to data privacy, anti-bribery, anti-fraud, and KYC/AML regulations.
• Act as the single point of contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers during onboarding and modification requests.
• Provide status updates and resolve queries related to vendor creation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, and finance teams to support system enhancements or process improvements.
• Follow established procedures for daily work requirements and responsibilities.

We seek qualifications in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Any graduate
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
• Relevant years of experience in vendor master data management, supplier onboarding, or procurement operations.
• Hands-on experience with at least one ERP/procurement platform (e.g., Oracle).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with data cleansing tools or ticketing systems.
• Understanding of vendor management lifecycle and procurement compliance.
• Working knowledge of indirect /direct spend categories
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, service-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and meet turnaround times under defined SLAs.
• Excellent organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness with critical attention to details.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and processes and put them into practical use.
• Excellent typing and data entry skills.
