This position exists to provide leadership and technical support for the college's broad strategy to utilize and extend computer and communication technology across disciplines and departments to achieve the following goals:
+ provide leadership and direction regarding technology development, planning, security/risk, budgeting, and staffing of the IT department.
+ Support instruction and increase student success by providing tools to enhance the learning environment.
+ Promote student understanding and skills through the utilization of computing technology.
+ Broaden access to learning opportunities and student services.
+ Maintain and enforce compliance with statutory regulations, policies and requirements related to data privacy, cybersecurity, risk management, and campus security (i.e. FERPA, HIPPA, Title IX, MCDPA, GLBA).
+ Improve overall college operations and decision-making.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in information technology leadership, including experience managing enterprise-wide systems, infrastructure, and staff.
+ Network planning and administration, with expertise in Windows, routers and switches, Unix (Linux) macOS, and internet connectivity.
+ Knowledge of information systems analysis and design techniques
+ Supervisory experience
+ Working knowledge of budget development and budge management processes.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in information technology or related degree
+ Experience in higher education.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Experience in managing institutional computer networks and related systems.
+ Experience coordination technology-related training to end-users.
+ Experience with advancing a campus community through technological innovation, including innovations in classroom teaching and student support services.
+ Experience working and effectively planning for an audience that is highly diverse in ability levels.
**Additional Requirements**
