Management Associate - S&OP

The Management Associate – S&OP rotates across multiple functional groups within the S&OP organization to provide a well-rounded basic knowledge of the Sales and Operations process from beginning to end. Management Associates are provided 24 months of on-the-job training with work assignments designed to accelerate their professional development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain and support basic Supply Planning process and functions for the S&OP Team.Learn and assist in development and completion of operating plans for financial forecasts and the annual operating plan.Provide weekly reporting of production metrics on key production units.Provide weekly reporting and analysis of interworks movements across the enterprise.Coordinate and assist in reviews of improving on-time delivery and reducing unwarehoused carryover.Supports continuous improvement initiatives and participate in Global S&OP Department savings and production targets / goals.Interacts with Global S&OP Supply Planning/Demand Planning/ Outside Processing, Procurement, FP&A, and Center of Excellence, Commercial Entities.Learn and help maintain production statistics to use for improving our understanding of how we should be planning our facilities.Perform other duties as required.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a closely related field.Must have less than three years of professional work experience.Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.Excellent planning and organization skills.Computer literacy to a working skills level - proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Ability to adapt to and master web-based support applications.Related experience in the Automotive supply chain, steel, metals or closely related industry preferred.Prior internship a plus.PREFERRED SKILLS:We are looking for motivated self-starters that can work in a fast paced, data-driven environment. The successful undergraduate will be an analytical problem solver, have an extremely high level of customer focus and a passion for process improvement. In addition, a successful candidate will have: Demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and an aptitude for your area of study.A strong record of team, project and/or people leadership in a work setting and/or extra-curricular activities.A willingness to take initiative to understand the business.An aptitude for problem solving; strong writing and verbal communication skills.A strong commitment to excellence and to personal and professional growth.Must be resourceful, responsible, tenacious, curious, independent, confident and high energy.The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Leadership and strong decision-making skills.Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.Salary: $59,141 - $71,568. This base salary range is a good faith estimate. Based on candidate skills/experience the final offer may be lower/higher.
