MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST
Summary This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. Responsibilities As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Provide technical advice and subject matter expertise in facilitating experimentation integration across the command. Assist with experimentation collaboration with key stakeholders, to include OSD, Joint Staff, other CCMDs, Military Services, academia, commercial industry partners, and allies and partners. Manages staff coordination and feedback mechanisms across command headquarters, transportation component commands, subordinate commands, and external agencies. Prepares briefs for leadership which articulate command equities and a cohesive position(s)/recommendation(s) for joint doctrine in development and/or transition. Establish and maintain relationships with OSD, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, academia, industry, and allies. Represent the command in joint doctrine discussions and working groups. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Research, interpret, analyze, and apply agency and Command instructions, regulations, policy and guidance. Advise internal and external stakeholders on experimentation, doctrine, and strategic planning. Engage in wargames, exercises, and workshops to assess and refine military concepts. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
