**Position Description:**
CGI Federal is seeking a Management Analyst II to support the Executive Office for Immigration Review-Board of Immigration Appeals (EOIR/BIA) in Falls Church, VA.
The role supports the Department of Justice's Executive Office for Immigration Review-Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws. The BIA is authorized to have up to 21 Board Members, including the Chairman and Vice Chairman, who share management responsibilities. The BIA typically does not conduct courtroom proceedings but decides appeals through a 'paper review' of cases.
**Your future duties and responsibilities:**
As a Management Analyst II, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the EOIR-BIA. The future CGI Partner will operate in a fast-paced environment, making a direct impact on immigration processing across the nation.
• Engage extensively and frequently through phone and email communication.
• Maintain high-volume communication with officers and/or attorneys via phone and email.
• Conduct extensive interactions with various teams within the Board of Immigration Appeals through phone, email, and in-person meetings to expedite the processing of emergency requests.
• Locate files for review to facilitate emergency requests.
• Prepare draft orders.
• Conduct rapid reviews of records of proceedings (ROPs) to identify necessary documentation requests.
**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**
Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills
Excellent communication abilities
Attention to detail
Bachelor's degree preferred
Ability to screen cases, conduct substantive reviews, and identify legal issues
Hourly Rate: $28.79/hour
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level, relevant experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
