Robert Walters – Management Accountant - Permanent - Hybrid – Birmingham - £55,000 - £65,000 per annum Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation, is seeking a Management Accountant to take ownership of monthly reporting, financial analysis, and cost control. Location: Birmingham Position: Management Accountant Full-Time Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 per annum

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

Produce accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.

Prepare and present insightful financial reports to budget holders and senior management.

Drive improvements in financial reporting and processes across the business.

Monitor and analyse business performance against budget and forecast.

Provide finance business partnering support to operational teams.

Manage accruals, prepayments, and journal entries in line with reporting deadlines.

Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and support commercial decision-making.

Key essentials of the Management Accountant:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

Strong technical accounting and analytical skills

Excellent communication and business partnering experience

Confident user of Excel and ERP systems
