Sheridan Maine are proud to be partnering with an established organisation in the Portsmouth area who are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on a temporary basis.
 
This role is varied in content and works closely with the Head of Finance. Key responsibilities of this role will include;
 
Preparation of monthly management accounts & annual budgetsBusiness partner with stakeholdersOversee the direct debit processingHelp to drive process improvements and identify cost saving improvementsPreparing and submitting complex VAT returnsSupporting the business with external audit requirements and supporting statutory account preparationOversee the day to day account ledgers 
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
 
Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)Management Accounting/Finance Manager experienceExperience of supervising a small team would be advantageousAdvanced excel skills and ERP knowledge
The ideal candidate will have previous management accounting experience along with hands on financial accounting & audit support.
