Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a leading organisation in the Portsmouth area. 
 
The role will be working within a small team and will encompass a wide range of financial and management accounting tasks.

Key duties of the role include:
Month end journals, accruals and prepaymentsBalance sheet reconciliationsPerforming stock reconciliationsVAT returnsFixed asset managementAssisting with the external auditProcessing payroll journalsIdentifying and implementing system and process improvements 
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in a management accountant or similar roleStrong analytical skillsAdvanced excel skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsQualified, part qualified ( ACCA / AAT / CIMA ) or qualified by experience
