Job Title: Management Accountant Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) Location: North West (Hybrid)
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and partnering with various departments to support budgeting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly management accounts and reconciliations to meet internal deadlines
Provide insightful variance analysis and updates to forecast
Maintain accurate ledger postings including sales, purchase, and nominal ledgers
Assist in annual budget preparation and year-end audit processes
Support VAT submissions and statistical reporting
Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting efficiency
Manage corporate credit card processes and reconciliations
Skills & Experience Required:ACCA/CIMA
Experience preparing management accounts and financial journals
Strong Excel skills and proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Dynamics GP or similar)
High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
Excellent communication and organisational skills
