Job Title: Management Accountant Location: Peterborough Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a market leading logistics business, is looking for an experienced management accountant to play a key role in providing financial insights and support key decisions to promote business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

The preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to monitor financial performance Analyse financial data, monitor risk and identify trends which could promote business growth. Ensure accurate cash flow forecasts and manage working capital effectively. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial guidance and support business operations.

About you:

ACCA/CIMA/ACA active studier with the plan to become qualified Experienced management accountant with a strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles Advanced excel ability, as well as experience with accounting systems A proactive and adaptable approach with a strong desire to improve financial processes Logistics experience is desirable
