As Digital& - Application Development team we are responsible for IT projects for Polish and international clients. The number of tasks we undertake is extensive: from design, building and implementation, through preparation of functional specifications and analysis of data in source systems, to the definition of business requirements, support in testing and development of mobile applications. The department provides IT consulting services, mainly to financial institutions from Poland and abroad.
The Transition Coordinator ensures a seamless transition of Application Managed Services (AMS) from a current team to the Managed Service Organization, a PwC unit dedicated to this type of activity. You will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end transition process in alignment with ITIL best practices. This role involves planning, coordination, and execution to ensure continuity and quality of a service. It requires strong organizational abilities and a deep understanding of IT service management.
We are looking for:
Managed Service Transition Coordinator
Your future role:Develop transition plans aimed at taking over maintenance and support from a current vendor, incorporating IT architecture, interface details, licensing, etc.
Identify potential risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the transition phase, ensuring clear communication referencing existing rollout plans and addressing any concerns or questions that arise.
Engage with stakeholders, including internal teams, current vendors, and business users, to gather requirements and expectations.
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions, ensuring all documentation, including workflows and system landscape details, is thoroughly handed over.
Coordinate design, creation and training of the target, post-transition service team
Ensure the ITSM solution for incident, problem, and change management (e.g., ServiceNow) adheres to service processes.
Monitor and report on transition progress, proactively addressing any issues that may affect timelines or service quality (e.g.: handling potential gaps in documentation and plan creation of operational procedures).
Conduct post-transition reviews to identify areas for enhancement and ensure continuous service improvement.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, standards, and processes throughout the transition lifecycle.
Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams to promote collaboration and engagement throughout the transition process.
Apply if you have:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (not a blocker, but highly preferred).
Strong project management background.
Excellent understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices - at least ITIL intermediate level is highly desirable.
Strong capabilities related to ITSM software (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
Minimum 4 years of experience in IT service management, with at least 2 years of proven track record in successful coordination of IT service transition projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong consulting skills, with the ability to analyze processes and recommend improvements.
Ability to coordinate multiple project threads and priorities.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
