**Full Time (80 hours/pay period)** **Days** **Mon-Fri 9:00a-5:30p** **General Summary** Performs routine and special mammography procedures at an advanced specialist skills and knowledge level according to established practices and procedures. Oversees the work of other technicians/technologists by training, allocating and monitoring work. May function as the Quality Control technologist. **Duties and Responsibilities** + Performs mammography studies. Obtains patient history; explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. + Oversees the work of other personnel by training, allocating and monitoring work. Performs work of a similar nature. + Under the direction of a Team Leader, is responsible for training other technologists, certifying that technologists meet competencies. + Maintains department quality assurance program. + Positions patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. + Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department. + Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. + Performs the duties of Radiographer as needed. **Required for All Jobs:** + Performs other related duties as identified. + WellSpan Health has adopted and implemented a compliance program to support WellSpan's values and standards for professionalism, integrity, and ethics. Required **Licenses:** + Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and + Registered Technologist-Mammography - ARRT Upon Hire Required **Courses and Training:** + Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in mammography procedures.
