Mammography Technologist II Roles and Responsibilities: + Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography as well as breast localizations and specimen x-ray. Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures. + Maybe required to staff the Mobile Mammography Coach and provide coverage for mobile events, some of which are outside routine business hours. + Meet MQSA and ACR requirements. Maintain < 2.5% repeat rate. + Perform spot magnification and compression views as needed. + Properly place films on multi-viewer for interpretation. + Maintain accurate and complete information /records for MQSA and ACR. + Accurate and thorough documentation of patient records in the organization's electronic health record system. Required Skills & Qualifications: + Graduate of an accredited Radiography program. + Registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography. + Minimum 6 months experience in mammography. + Maintain CE requirements in the field of mammography as well as Radiology. + No lifting greater than 20 pounds required. + Occasional push-pull, of stretchers. + Limited overhead work required. + Ability to organize and maintain supply inventory. + Some computer skills required. + Through knowledge of testing procedures related to mammography, including sterile procedures.
