This role ensures patient comfort and safety, provides accurate imaging for interpretation by radiologists, and maintains compliance with MQSA and ACR standards while supporting a positive patient experience. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Positions patients and operates mammography equipment to obtain optimal images, adjusting technical factors and compression as needed. + Ensures patient identification, safety, and comfort, explaining procedures clearly and addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and compassion. + Follows all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and documentation requirements. + Collaborates with radiologists and breast imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results or next steps. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:** + Qualified in Digital Mammography Preferred + Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Preferred + 1 years in Mammography Preferred + 1 yr experience performing Stereotactic Core Biopsies (Site Specific Preferred + 1 yr experience performing Breast Needle Localizations (Site Specific Preferred + Knowledge of Mammography and Diagnostic Radiological Procedures/Positions + Ability to determine appropriate technical factors + Knowledge of Mammography equipment and MQSA and ACR regulations + Ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Radiation Safety + Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds + Ability to complete Mammography exams in a timely manner even under stressful condition + Good organizational skills + Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment + (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Florida State License Required + (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Required + (M) ARDMS or ARRT - Mammography Required + CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Required This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
