Job Summary

Responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.

Essential Functions
-Performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
-Positions patients and uses immobilization if necessary.
-Selects proper mode to produce correct exposure factors.
-Evaluates images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
-Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate.
-Explains procedures to patients.


 

Qualifications

Qualifications

- MA State Radiologic Technology License required

- ARRT Certification required

- Associate's in medical imaging required

- ARRT(M) and Mammography license within 1 year

- 1 year of mammography experience preferred

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Per Diem Mammography Technologist to join our team in Rowley. This role is responsible for performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient comfort and safety while delivering exceptional imaging services in a professional and supportive environment.
