Growing together.** Upon the order of a qualified physician, the Mammography Technologist will utilize equipment which produces ionizing radiation to obtain images for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. The Mammography Technologist will perform Mammography and DEXA studies. The Mammography Technologist will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) and designated PACS system. May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience, and credentials are deemed adequate by supervisor to perform those duties. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications:** + High School diploma or GED + Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program. 40 hours mammography training approved by the ARRT and 25 supervised exams to meet the minimum initial FDA & TMB requirements for mammographers + ARRT (R) MRT-General Certificate, Employee must attain ARRT(M) within one year of eligibility + BLS through American Heart Association + Experience using Microsoft + Working knowledge of mammography quality assurance measures and accreditation requirements + Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills + Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation **Preferred Qualifications:** + Associate degree in Applied Science-Radiology Technology + 1+ years Mammography and DEXA experience + ARRT (R)(M) + PACS and RIS experience + Bilingual The hourly range for this role is $34.42 to $67.60 per hour based on full-time employment.
