**Position Purpose:**
Performs diagnostic and screening mammographic and bone density procedures. Assists Radiologist in performing specialty procedures within Mammography. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne
**What you will Do:**
Prepares patient, room and equipment for procedure.
Provides patient cares in accordance with department policy.
Collects history data from patient and provides patient education.
Performs mammographic imaging procedures.
Performs bone density procedure according to skill set.
Provides radiologist pertinent information for interpretation.
Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
**Hours/Schedule:**
_32 Hours Per Week_ **_Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm._**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Graduate of a two year accredited program in Radiography.
Minimum of 1-year radiology experience preferred. Mammographic experience preferred.
Must have valid Iowa permit to practice. ARRT certification in Radiography and ARRT certification in Mammography within 1 year. Must have completed the required 40 hour mammography training + 8 hours tomo training (as required by IDPH) prior to employment or within 7 days from the date of hire.
Intermediate language, intermediate math, high reasoning ability.
• Personal computer.
• Ability to work with diverse group of people. Ability to make critical positioning decisions to determine which views most adequately demonstrate pathology. Strong interpersonal skills.
