Job Title: Supply Planning Advisor 
Location: KL 
Employment type: 12 months contract 
Eligibility: Open to Malaysian Citizens or Permanent Residents only (must have full working rights) Job Purpose

The Supply Planning Advisor is responsible for making informed decisions to balance and resolve supply issues, especially under uncertain conditions such as sudden shifts in customer demand. This role plays a critical part in ensuring raw material and product availability, inventory management, and overall supply continuity — all in support of meeting company service level and working capital targets.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and purchase raw materials to meet production needs and align with the production plan.

Raise purchase orders to group companies and vendors to ensure continuity and timely supply of products.

Consolidate monthly forecasts and generate forward planning requirements to meet dynamic demand.

Manage inventory, including SLOB (Slow-Moving and Obsolete) stocks, S&OP processes, and inventory optimization.

Ensure key supply planning KPIs are met:

In-Full On-Time (IFOT)

Inventory closing volume

Days of cover

Act as a response team member during crisis/continuity events per assigned plans.

Participate in S&OP forums and contribute relevant planning insights.

Serve as the plant coordinator for Streamline activities, ensuring proper system setups for SKUs, raw materials, and packaging.

Maintain accurate planning data in JDE and relevant tools.

Monitor sales volume trends and adjust supply schedules accordingly.

Support materials management through reporting, scheduling, and analytics (volumes, costs, margins, capacity).

Assist in account settlement processes related to product purchases and sales.

Promote cost minimization and compliance with quality and HSSE standards across the supply chain.

Facilitate monthly material forecast updates and coordinate with Procurement and other planners.

Support change management or NPI (New Product Introduction) processes related to materials.

Contribute to supply reviews with updates on risks, shortages, and cash impacts. Make Supply Planning decisions, including MRP and MPS, within delegated authority limits. Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

University degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.

Experience in the lubricants, CPG, or chemical industry preferred.

Fluent in English.

Experience:

6-8 years of relevant business experience.

Strong communication and influencing skills.

Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and handle complex situations with a positive mindset.

Experience working with cross-functional and senior leadership teams.

Independent judgment and problem-solving capabilities.

Knowledge of statistical analysis and experience in Supply Planning, DRP, and MRP processes.
