What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Zone Leader, you’ll be part of our team located in Willard, OH. You’ll get to:  Responsibilities / Authority:

·       Lead scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities related to plant equipment.

·       Promote a safe work environment. Resolve or escalate any safety concerns. Stop work if safe conditions are not present. Immediately report any safety incidents.

·       Effectively communicate with all maintenance personnel across all shifts. This includes explaining jobs, presenting Tier 1 information, entering shift notes, and email communication

·       Assign jobs to maintenance personnel. Track job progress & prioritize tasks. Reassign associates if necessary. Follow-up regularly throughout a job's progression.

·       Perform regular Safety, 5S, and workmanship audits.

·       Assist with repairs, projects, & PM activities.

·        Maintain regular communication with other department leaders. This includes giving repair status updates, following up & verifying completed work, and scheduling upcoming maintenance activity

·       Establish preventative and predictive maintenance methods to reduce unscheduled downtime.

·       Maintain safety, quality, and production standards following all ISO and company procedures.

·       Address production concerns and identify opportunities for improvement.

·       Assist in the selection, qualification, and development/training of Maintenance personnel.

·       Plan and recommend future equipment and facility requirements.

Who You Are

You also have:     State approved Maintenance Journeyman’s card or equivalent experience.

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·      Ability to plan, supervise, and direct all plant maintenance activities.

·      Ability to develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.

·      Ability to initiate and maintain documentation necessary for proper record keeping.

·      A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access) and CMMS programs

·       Have a strong electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic background.

·    Proven leadership skills.

·       Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.

·       Have a working knowledge of OSHA, the National Electric Code, and the NFPA.

·       Ability to lift 50 lbs.

·       Must be able to work inclement weather conditions (both inside and outside which includes
various heights).
