JSG is seeking a Maintenance Worker for our client in San Jose to support the construction, maintenance, and repair of flood control and groundwater recharge facilities.

Responsibilities: 
Construct, maintain, and repair flood control and groundwater recharge structures.
Patch cracks, lay riprap, build and remove small dams.

Perform concrete work: break and remove rubble, set forms, install reinforcements, mix, pour, and finish cement.

Support sediment loading and cleaning of groundwater recharge and sludge ponds.

Count truck loads, complete truck tags, ensure proper loading by equipment operators, and assist with traffic control.

Check job sites for potential hazards and take appropriate safety precautions.

Operate power tools and light equipment in accordance with safety regulations.

Construct and repair fencing as needed.
Maintain accurate paper and electronic records of work performed.
Qualifications: 
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Experience Two (2) years of construction or field maintenance experience. Valid CA drivers license  Rate: 32.43 /hr.
