**Maintenance Technician T-3 (2nd shift)– Colorado Springs, Colorado**
**Job Title: T3 Maintenance Technician (2nd shift)**
The 2nd-shift Maintenance Technician will perform repairs, maintenance, preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on precision, high-volume production equipment. Maintenance duties include complete rebuilds of critical production equipment and may also include general maintenance of buildings and grounds. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, and customer focused with strong teamwork skills.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Performs repairs, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance on all production related equipment.
+ Identifies and develops parts list for purchase for all existing in-plant production equipment rebuilds/upgrades, working closely with mechanical/electrical engineers and controls technicians.
+ Creates and files documentation to include spare parts list, troubleshooting guide, and preventive maintenance schedule as they relate to new equipment, or rebuilds/upgrades.
+ Supports MRO in maintaining adequate maintenance spare parts inventory.
+ Supports the TPM Coordinator by ensuring Autonomous Maintenance (AM) is implemented and maintained across all applicable production equipment.
+ May perform general repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance on buildings and grounds.
+ Ensures all work and projects are tracked via work orders in resident CMMS software.
+ Maintains all related data, documentation and parts list in electronic files on local system drive.
+ Maintains inventory of all related spare parts that reside within the Maintenance Crib/Cage
**What You Need to Succeed:**
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
+ Strong organizational skills – including multiple tasks with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
+ Ability to incorporate analytical and problem-solving skills using available data and material management tools.
+ Have strong mathematical and quantitative skills – including strong communication skills; both verbal and written.
+ Ability to use precision measuring and testing instruments on production machines and equipment.
+ Expertise in troubleshooting precision mechanical/electrical equipment.
+ Ability to easily interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and instruction manuals.
+ Ability to easily develop viable solutions to problems that require extensive technical troubleshooting and diagnosis.
+ Ability to easily use and manipulate MS-Office software.
+ Ability to easily use and manipulate CMMS software.
+ Electrical knowledge of motors, starters, contactors, and variable drives, etc.
**Additional Preferred Skills**
+ Basic welding skills
+ Thorough knowledge of electronics, controls and PLCs
+ Thorough knowledge of building electrical systems (Journeyman level on up)
+ Basic understanding of building communication systems – i.e., telephone, network cabling
+ Building HVAC systems
+ Understanding and operation of a large air compressor network
+ Basic plumbing skills
**EXPERIENCE**
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 10 years relevant maintenance experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical and CNC Equipment.

**Compensation:**
This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
+ The expected Base Hourly Range: min $33 -max $43.12 hourly rate plus 8% premium for 2nd shift. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
