Maintenance Technician ( Regular Full-Time Hourly ) Owatonna,MN

To keep our testing centers running smoothly, we are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician ( Regular Full-time ) to support the upkeep and functionality of our facilities.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work Wednesday to Wednesday from 6 pm to 6 am.

Responsibilities

· Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine and scheduled maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration, on various printing machines such as offset and digital presses, and bindery equipment.

· Troubleshooting & Repairs:

Diagnose and resolve technical issues with machinery, including mechanical failures and electrical malfunctions, to restore optimal operation.

· Preventive Maintenance:

Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce unexpected breakdowns and improve equipment longevity.

· Inventory Management:

Order and manage spare parts, tools, and supplies for equipment maintenance.

· Record Keeping:

Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment performance, and parts usage.

· Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

· Technical Support:

Provide technical assistance and support to production staff.

 

Required Skills and Abilities

· Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude for diagnosing and repairing complex machinery.

· Proficiency with diagnostic tools and techniques.

· Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to report issues and collaborate with teams.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 

Qualifications

 

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
