To keep our testing centers running smoothly, we are seeking a dedicated **Maintenance Technician** ( Regular Full-time ) to support the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. **Starting pay is per hour $24 to $28 per hour +** This position is benefits eligible effective on your hire date. Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work **Wednesday to Wednesday from 6 pm to 6 am.** **Responsibilities** **· Equipment Maintenance:** Perform routine and scheduled maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration, on various printing machines such as offset and digital presses, and bindery equipment. **· Troubleshooting & Repairs:** Diagnose and resolve technical issues with machinery, including mechanical failures and electrical malfunctions, to restore optimal operation. **· Preventive Maintenance:** Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce unexpected breakdowns and improve equipment longevity. **· Inventory Management:** Order and manage spare parts, tools, and supplies for equipment maintenance. **· Record Keeping:** Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment performance, and parts usage. **· Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. **· Technical Support:** Provide technical assistance and support to production staff. **Required Skills and Abilities** **·** Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude for diagnosing and repairing complex machinery. **·** Proficiency with diagnostic tools and techniques. **·** Ability to read technical manuals and schematics. **·** Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. **·** Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to report issues and collaborate with teams. **·** Ability to work independently with minimal supervision **Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent is required. **Who we are:** At Pearson, our purpose is simple: to help people realize the life they imagine through learning.
