Maintenance Technician III

Position Details:

Location: Winter Haven Hospital – Winter Haven, FLStatus: Full-TimeShift: 6:30am – 3pm Days: Monday – Friday / Occasional weekends

Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of buildings, equipment and systems throughout the assigned facilities. May also be required to install equipment. Must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics and perform general mechanical repairs. Responsible for providing indirect guidance to others and to provide project specific management to others. Responsible to perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to cover all trades including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic tube, painting,carpentry and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment. May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarilywithin the craft lines. May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities. Perform other duties as assigned.

 Education

Required: High School or EquivalentPreferred: Technical in a related field

Licenses

Required: FL Driver's License

Experience

Required: 3 years maintenancePreferred: 2 year hospital-related
