Position SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Sr. Maintenance Tech, Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager provide troubleshooting, repair maintenance, preventative maintenance and installation support for new and existing manufacturing equipment, facility equipment and devices. Provide on-line maintenance support. Maintain all safety standards.

Duties
Maintains and repairs electronic equipment, and industrial controls following blueprints and manufactures' specifications and using hand tools and test instruments.
Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operations and electronic units and systems to diagnosis cause of malfunction
Converses with equipment operators to troubleshoot problems with equipment before breakdown and to determine if breakdown is due to human error or mechanical problem.
Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts using the appropriate hand tools.
Aligns, adjusts and calibrates equipment according to specifications
Maintains maintenance records as required
Maintains and operates low pressure steam boiler and air compressors
Follows all applicable quality and safety rules and guidelines
Other duties as assigned
Education Degree High School Diploma or GED Required Experience 2-5 years of related work experience (i.e., automatic packaging equipment, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and electronics 2 years experience on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and robotic systems 2 years experience in using various hand tools 2 years experience in production equipment maintenance Preferred ExperienceTechinical/Vocational degree in automation and manufactuing equipment repair and maintenance preferred
Ability to read/understand blueprints, equipment manuals, and industrial standards.
Demonstrated skill set to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical and mechanical production equipment including basic PLC troubleshooting, in order to support the requirements of Operations
Reading, writing, and basic math skills required.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and react appropriately with shifting priorities and rapid change
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Pay range for this opportunity is $25.44 - $32.92. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
