Maintenance Technician (Full Time) - Sarnia, ON

Purpose:

This position requires the ability to work independently and with a team to perform a wide variety of skilled mechanical duties to install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and facilities.

Technical Responsibilities:

Disassembly/assembly of rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes, compressors to repair/replace bearings, gears, seals, structural components, etc.Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, blowers, valves, etc.Install, repair, and maintain mechanical high pressure piping systems including threaded and welded pipe systemsPerform preventive/reactive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systemsUtilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System, plan and execute maintenance activities including procurement of parts, performing scheduled maintenance tasks and completion of all follow up required documentation.Complete and document maintenance activities in associated repair ledgers
