The technician will: + Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R and kitchen equipment in the Decatur area, with occasional support for Erlanger, KY, and Chicago, IL. + Assist in the installation of systems for new construction, remodels, and retrofits. **Physical Requirements:** The role requires physical endurance and adaptability: + Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders or stairs. + Perform heavy lifting as needed. + Work in adverse weather conditions, such as extreme heat, cold, or inclement weather. **Qualifications:** Licenses/Certifications: + Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle in a work environment. Experience: + At least five years of experience in HVAC/R systems and maintenance. **Critical/Essential Job Functions:** The role involves a wide range of technical tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to: HVAC/R Systems: + Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems using Building Automation Software. + Install and upgrade HVAC/R systems as part of construction or retrofit projects. + Troubleshoot and repair HVAC components, such as pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, heat pumps, and cooling towers. Kitchen Equipment: + Repair and install kitchen appliances and equipment. Preventive Maintenance: + Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing filters and belts, cleaning, and testing equipment. Field Service: + Troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment in the field. + Maintain accurate records of refrigerant usage. Plumbing and Ductwork: + Perform basic plumbing repairs and installations (e.g., domestic water, refrigeration). + Construct and install ductwork.
