Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Principal duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. + Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance service, maintains production and quality by ensuring reliable operation of machinery and mechanical equipment + Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment and plant facility. + Prepares and performs mechanic duties including but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repair of production machines and facility ancillary equipment. + Start up and operate production machinery and equipment for manufacturing pilot run materials and special products + Read, interpret and understands equipment manuals, schematic diagrams and blueprints + Coordinate with contractors and get needed quotes for building improvements + Support site janitorial activities as needed Requirements: + High School Degree or equivalent G.E.D. + Two (2) years or more related experience with a trade or technical school certificate or relevant experience. + Understanding of mechanical functioning as well as having operational knowledge of all production machinery, equipment and tooling. + Experience in at least one specialized skilled maintenance area such as electrical, general maintenance, electronics, mechanical repair. + Experience troubleshooting complex equipment. + General understanding of handling hazardous waste + Comply with OSHA safety and health rule + Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated height + Able to lift 70 lbs + Able to work outdoors in cold and hot weather Compensation & Job Classification: + This is a non-exempt position and will be eligible for all overtime. + Salary Range: $53,000 - $58,000 inclusive of overtime pay, paid at an hourly rate. + Minimum of ten (10) hours of over-time available weekly. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
