Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Principal duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance service, maintains production and quality by ensuring reliable operation of machinery and mechanical equipmentProvides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment and plant facility.Prepares and performs mechanic duties including but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repair of production machines and facility ancillary equipment.Start up and operate production machinery and equipment for manufacturing pilot run materials and special productsRead, interpret and understands equipment manuals, schematic diagrams and blueprintsCoordinate with contractors and get needed quotes for building improvementsSupport site janitorial activities as needed

Requirements:

High School Degree or equivalent G.E.D. Two (2) years or more related experience with a trade or technical school certificate or relevant experience.Understanding of mechanical functioning as well as having operational knowledge of all production machinery, equipment and tooling.Experience in at least one specialized skilled maintenance area such as electrical, general maintenance, electronics, mechanical repair.Experience troubleshooting complex equipment.General understanding of handling hazardous wasteComply with OSHA safety and health ruleAbility to work in confined spaces and elevated heightAble to lift 70 lbsAble to work outdoors in cold and hot weather

Compensation & Job Classification:

This is a non-exempt position and will be eligible for all overtime.Salary Range: $53,000 - $58,000 inclusive of overtime pay, paid at an hourly rate.Minimum of ten (10) hours of over-time available weekly. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
