Golden Peanut in Dawson GA (oil division) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech that is reliable and wants to build a lasting career.
This is a full-time, hourly W2 position.
Schedule: 7:00am until released. Typically 4:00pm. (one hour unpaid lunch) Can be some 12 hour days
Pay: $20.00 to $30.00 an hour depending on experience and role hired for.

Some things you will do as a Maintenance Tech at Golden Peanut:
Conducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record.
Maintains a good attendance record
Respond to requests to address and diagnose operation mechanical problems where equipment is not operating correctly
Disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
Perform regular inspections of production equipment and performing preventive maintenance duties
Collaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning maintenance problems regarding equipment
Fabricate parts for use in maintenance and/or electrical tasks
Weld parts for use in maintenance and/or electrical tasks
Perform semi-skilled to unskilled labor duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment
Provide on-call coverage
Responsible for ensuring work area is kept clean
Order and inventory parts, equipment and/or tools as assigned by lead
Job purpose is to minimize unscheduled losses and improve reliability
Maintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as required.
Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual inspections, reporting any problems noted.
Willing to be trained to work various jobs within the facility
Maintain documentation required to perform job duties
Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management

That you are at least 18 years of age or older
The ability to work overtime and be on call as needed including weekends
That you maintain excellent attendance (being on time, working when scheduled, staying until your shift ends)
Demonstrates the ability to be observant and to address concerns that may arise
Previous experience in a factory setting is preferred
Mechanical Aptitude is a must. Be able to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment and will need welding and fabrication experience.
The ability to work above ground level on grated flooring and climb stairs/ladders
