Priority Personnel is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company located in Lockhart, TX.

Pay rate: $23.00/hour

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/8am-5pm

Job Duties:

Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment during breakdowns with minimal downtime. Assist with minor facility repairs (plumbing, lighting, structural, etc.). Collaborate closely with production staff to resolve equipment issues, maintaining professionalism in stressful situations. Accurately complete maintenance logs, repair reports, and work orders. Follow all safety, sanitation, and food safety procedures. Monitor and report equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement. Support outside contractors when specialized work is required. Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in an organized and safe condition.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred. 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food production or manufacturing setting preferred. Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems. Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work instructions. Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on repair ability. Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with production teams. Dependable with consistent, on-time attendance. Ability to remain calm and cooperative during stressful breakdown situations. Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
