Job Description

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring efficient operation of our production processes in the beverage industry.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on food and beverage equipment.Work with motors, sensors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Troubleshoot and repair various machines including fillers, labelers, mixers, packaging, palletizers, and cappers.Use PLCs for troubleshooting tasks.Stick welding experience is a plus.

Essential Skills

Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.Familiarity with food and beverage machinery.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Proficiency in welding, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to stand for more than 10 hours a day.Own basic hand tools.

Work Environment

Our facility is a non-climate-controlled plant, which means it can be hot or cold depending on the weather. Fans are installed throughout the plant, and some areas may be wet or damp. The 2nd shift runs from Monday through Thursday, 2pm to 12:30am, with potential overtime until 2am. The 3rd shift focuses on preventative maintenance from Monday to Friday, 11pm to 7:30am. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, uniforms, eye protection, gloves, and hair nets, are provided. Spanish-speaking employees are welcome, and Friday overtime is optional.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maitland, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
