The opportunityDelaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva in Geneva, Ohio. The maintenance department is responsible for on site maintenance of the property, guest-rooms, banquet facilities and associated grounds. Additional duties include pool upkeep, grounds maintenance, snow removal. The position has on call requirements and staggered start times, weekends and holidays as well.

What will you do? Operate self-propelled and manually operated mowing equipment. Water and mow golf tees, greens, roughs, and fairways. See that grounds are kept neat and orderly. Assist forestry crews in cleanup after trimming operations and in other forestry related work performed on the ground. Cut grass, sprinkle lawns, trim hedges, rake leaves, pick up brush and branches. Aerate and fertilize tees, greens, fairways and lawns. Make minor repairs on mowers and other equipment. Set up and repair fences including snow fences. Operate safety devices on aerial lifts. Operates motor vehicle as necessary More about you Minimum of one year previous experience in landscaping or maintenance required. No high school diploma or GED required. Must have a valid drivers license Physical requirements Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and to paint. Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor. Ability to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally. Visual acuity sufficient for reading, performing repairs, and painting. Exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons, including variable temperatures and wet and/or humid conditions. Occasionally exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level may be moderate to high. Shift detailsDays
